There is no universal number, and retiring on a threshold alone destroys value. Retire when no route in your network fits the vehicle's remaining usable energy with a safe reserve, when the degradation slope is accelerating rather than flattening, or when today's resale value exceeds what the vehicle will earn before the next band. Otherwise redeploy it to a shorter duty cycle.
